1. Yam washing machine:
wash the fresh yam roots in clean water to remove mud, sand and other impurities. Note: The water source should be checked regularly to ensure it is not dirty or contaminated.
2. Yam peeling machine:
wash the yam roots to remove the surface stains and dirt, and peel the yam roots to remove the bark of the yam.

3. Yam slicing machine(yam chipping machine):
the peeled yam tubers are then mechanically sliced to desirable thickness in a slicing machine made of stainless steel.
4. Yam parboiling machine:
the yam slices are blanched in boiling water (parboiling) for some minutes, depending on the thickness of the slices of yam.
5. Belt type dryer(yam chips drying machine):
the parboiled yam slices are dried in a dryer at specified drying temperature by principle of heat transfer exchange, the drying process is more reliable and of higher quality, then the dried yams chips are stored in air tight containers.
6:Yam flour grinding machine or yam flour milling machine: the dried yam chips are grinded directly into flour of uniform particle size distribution.
7:Yam flour sieving machine and packaging machine: The yam flour is sieved and packed into air tight, moisture proof packaging materials.
